About Me
I grew up in India with a deep curiosity for how things work — mechanical systems, rotating equipment, the physics of why machines fail and how to make them last longer. That curiosity led me through a Mechanical Engineering degree at JNTU, a Master's in Metallurgy at NIT Karnataka, and eventually to Australia for an MBA at QUT.
My first real taste of mining came at Incitec Pivot and BHP, where I learned that reliability engineering is as much about data discipline and process rigour as it is about technical knowledge. That foundation shaped everything that followed at Dyno Nobel — where I spent three years in the field at Moranbah delivering capital projects in one of Queensland's most demanding brownfield environments.
Outside of work, I'm genuinely excited about where AI is heading in engineering. The API 610 compliance agent on this site isn't just a portfolio trick — it's a real exploration of how agentic workflows can take the grind out of standards verification and free engineers to focus on decisions that matter.
